I once had a co-worker who did the bare minimum to retain his employment. Needless to say that person didn't make it long and was eventually let go. When that day came I asked the boss why they retained them as long as they did and the boss didn't have a really solid answer aside from that he was in an entry level position and sometimes you roll the dice and give a person a chance. I recalled my grandmother telling me "you get what you pay for" - meaning in essence that the person was making minimum wage and barely got enough hours to be considered full time. The employee therefore did the bare minimum and thus, the company ultimately "got what they paid for."
Sure we would all like a 22 oz. Porterhouse but maybe our budget will only afford us an 8 oz. New York Strip. Both are good steaks, but one is obviously superior to the other. Insurance policies are the same way. You might in fact HAVE a policy....but is it the right policy for your situation and budget? Will it cover your expenses if, God forbid, you should ever have to rely on it? If the answer to that question is a "No" then you should...no...you NEED to let us take a look at your policies and see if we cannot maximize our leverage in the industry and possibly via combining policies, save you money and actually get you MORE coverage than you currently have.
If you haven't shopped your policy around in awhile or are unsure if you simply have the "bare minimum" kind of policy, give us a call. A simple phone call or in office visit could potentially mean the difference between your family having NY strip or a Porterhouse. What do you want them to eat?
